What does the Council do?
RVCOG delivers services to the region in a variety of ways:
- It helps develop comprehensive, regional solutions for the next century.
- It plans, manages, staffs or funds a range of community-based programs that provide for the essential needs of seniors and persons with disabilities.
- It furnishes expert technical assistance in planning, civil engineering, community development, data collection and analysis, air and water quality standards, transportation plans, and other tools local communities use to prepare for the consequences of population growth.
- It organizes and facilitates town hall meetings and other public gatherings so residents have a voice in many of their respective community's critical issues.
